Facts and history
The association was founded in 1990 and is a part of HK, one of Denmark’s largest trade unions. With the support of HK, we ensure that our members get the best possible pay and working conditions. Furthermore, we offer free, individual sparring to our members regarding their work and career development and free legal advice, should they face problems at their workplace.
We are represented all over Denmark
Our head office is located in Copenhagen, but we are represented all over Denmark through our local trade offices which organise courses, enterprise visits and study tours. Our local trade offices further ensure the cooperation with the local Business Colleges and Business Academies which are responsible for the education of the new holders of an AF/AP Degree in Business.
Our most important asset is our members’ knowledge
Furthermore, we take pride in keeping our members updated about the latest knowledge. We do that through the publication of our trade paper twice a year with news, inspiration for our members’ working life, food for thought, local news and a list of the many courses we offer to our members. We also keep our members updated through our electronic newsletter that is sent out six times a year and through our website.
