Lørdag 3. oktober 2020 kan du kan bl.a. møde (bekræftede speakere):
Graphic artist, print-maker and designer Anthony Burrill is known for his persuasive, up-beat style of communication. His work is held in the permanent collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, New York and has been exhibited in galleries around the world including the Barbican Art Gallery, the Walker Art Center and the Design Museum, London.
Words and language are an important part of Burrill’s output and he has developed a distinctive voice that is sought after not only by collectors of his posters and prints but also by clients including Apple, Google, Hermés, the British Council, London Underground and the Design Museum. Burrill is perhaps best known for his typographic, text-based compositions, including the now-famous 'Work Hard and Be Nice to People', which has become a mantra for the design community and beyond. http://anthonyburrill.com/

Over the years Morag has concentrated on working way beyond the restrictions of 2-D and creates and curates many different types of work including a train as a café, numerous exhibitions, interpreting buildings plus running her own gallery and shop »her house«. Myerscough believes that wayfinding is not purely about a series of signs but as much about bringing out the narrative in the built environment, enhancing the physical experience, it is very important how people feel when they move through a space, if they can move easily almost unconsciously and if you can make them smile and feel happy that is one of the best outcomes. Morag studied at St Martin's and the Royal College of Art. Starting Studio Myerscough in 1993. https://www.instagram.com/moragmyerscough/
Bred from the loins of the proud Midwest, this little fucker was squeezed out in Detroit, in the year 1973 to the proud parents of Jim and Lauren Draplin. Growing up on a steady stream of Legos, Star Wars, family trips, little sisters, summer beach fun, stitches, fall foliage, drawing, skateboarding and snowboarding, at 19 he moved west to Bend, Oregon to hit jumps “Out West.” His career started with a snowboard graphic for Solid snowboards and took off like wildfire soon after. Everything from lettering cafe signs to drawing up logos to thinking up local advertising campaigns were manhandled under the ruse of the newly formed-and gigantically reckless-Draplindustries Design Co. The Draplin Design Co. finally stepped out on its own four hairy feet in the fall of 2004. Some four year later, he’s proud to report that he’s managed to “keep everything out of the red.” He rolls up his sleeves for Coal Headwear, the Union Binding Company, Snowboard Magazine, Field Notes memo books, Ride Snowboards, Forum Snowboards, Grenade Gloves, Chunklet Magazine, Cobra Dogs, Absinthe Films, NemoDesign, Gnu Snowboards, RVL7 Apparel, Burton Snowboards, K2 Snowboards, Bonfire Snowboarding Apparel, South American Snow Sessions, as well as all sorts of one-off logos, t-shirt graphics and what not. He owes it all to his parents, seriously. http://www.draplin.com/
Victo Ngai is a Los Angeles based illustrator from Hong Kong, graduated from Rhode Island School of Design. “Victo” is not a boy nor a typo, but a nickname derived from Victoria – a leftover from the British colonization. Ngai’s work appear in advertising, packaging, magazines, books, newspapers and animation, her clients include The New York Times, The New Yorker, Apple, Prophecy Wines, Johnnie Walker, American Express, Lufthansa Airline, General Electric, Tor, Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, NBC and Dreamwork. Ngai’s work has received many honors including Forbes 30 Under 30 (Art & Style), The One Club Young Guns 16, Society of Illustrators NY Gold and Silver medals, SPECTRUM Gold and Silver Medals, ADC and SPD Silver Awards, Hugo Award and World Fantasy Award finalist and many more. https://victo-ngai.com/
Wilfred Wood was born in London and grew up in rural Sussex. He studied graphics at Central St. Martins, then got a job in publishing. He got bored of that and applied to train as a 'headbuilder' for the satirical TV program Spitting Image. When that ended I became a freelance sculptor. He lives in East London. His studio is in Hackney Wick, right next to the Olympics. https://www.instagram.com/wilfridwoodsculptor/
