You can always log in with MitID. If you wish to create or change your personal password to HK, you must first log in using MitID.

To be able to use a personal password for HK, you must first create one by logging in with MitID. You can then use the password every time you log in.

My HK password is not working (has been locked)
Only you can create a HK password. If your access is locked, you must log in with MitID and then create your HK password yourself under 'New password' on My HK.

I forgot my HK password
Please log in using MitID, after which you can create a new HK password under 'New password' on My HK.

This is the first time I log on to Mit HK
In that case you don not have a HK password yet. You must first log in using MitID, and then you can create your own HK password.

Do I always have to log in with MitID?
No, only the first time you log in to Mit HK. You can then create your own HK password.

Can I just use my MitID?
Yes you can.

Calculate an estimate of your unemployment benefits

With the unemployment benefits calculator, you can estimate how much you can expect to receive in monthly unemployment benefits. If the calculation shows that you are eligible for an employment supplement for the first 481 hours, you must meet these three conditions:

You have been a member of the unemployment insurance fund (A-kasse) for the past 4 year
Your earned income entitles you to more than the maximum unemployment benefit rate
You have been employed for 2 years within the past 3 years

If you want to calculate the amount you will receive in benefits after deduction of Tax, you must contact SKAT (The Danish Tax Department). However, you can also try to make your own calculation at SKAT’s homepage www.skat.dk.

NOTE! If you make any changes in your Preliminary income assessment in the month of December, then please contact us to make sure, that the changes have been reported correctly to us. You do that by contacting us a few days after you have made changes to your Preliminary income assessment. Only needed for changes in December.

Calculation of net benefits

You must pay tax of your unemployment benefits. The benefits are paid out at the end of every month. The benefits will be transferred to your ‘Nemkonto’.
As a starting point we will use your primary tax card. If you don’t receive a full payment, we will use your tax deduction proportionately on the hours you do receive benefits for.
If you have a part time job where your employer is using your primary tax card, you have to tell us to use your secondary tax card.
