Only you can create a HK password. If your access is locked, you must log in with MitID and then create your HK password yourself under 'New password' on My HK.

Please log in using MitID, after which you can create a new HK password under 'New password' on My HK.

A counselling session with HK’s Career Counsellors can help create an overview of your options, as well as sharpening your efficiency in achieving your goals. Here are some of the things HK’s Career Counsellors can help you with:
- Outlining your skills – know your own strengths and put your capabilities into words
- Outlining your values – gain a greater awareness of what makes you thrive in your working life
- Motivation – get to the core of what drives you to take control of your career.
- Job search – make a plan for how to get started with the job search process
- LinkedIn profile – get guidance on optimising your LinkedIn profile
- Job interview / performance review – get guidance on the best way to approach interviews and reviews
- Choice of education / continuing education – be inspired by opportunities and get a clear sense of your motivation for choosing education, as well as which skills you might need to improve
The career counselling happens over the phone, and it is based on your situation and how you would like to develop and change your working life. The conversation is dialogue-based, which means that a counsellor and you will decide upon the next step in your working life. A session typically lasts 30-45 minutes but will be tailored to your needs. You can receive an additional session, and this session can be with the same counsellor from HK’s Career Counselling if you wish.
Get counselling on applications and your cv when applying for jobs
HK’s Career Counsellors work with your actual application material. This means that a counselling session is based on both your CV, application and the specific job posting. To get the most out of the session, it is important that you submit all three parts. You can also get feedback on an unsolicited application - if so, you simply link to the company's website.
