Your first day as unemployed

And your options in your notice period

There is a few things to take care of if you become unemployed. The future may seem a bit blurred, and it might feel a bit unsafe. With HK's unemployment fund, you are on firm ground, your future prospects are good and so is your possibility of spending your notice and unemployment periods in a constructive way. Here, you can read more about our offer during your notice period (from the day you receive your notice and until the day you leave your job) and what you must do if you become unemployed.

Our 'Move on' concept - when you are a member of both the unemployment fund and the trade union
Have you just been terminated?  Do not hesitate to contact HK. If you are also a member of the HK trade union, we guarantee you an interview with an HK adviser within 24 hours so that you get the right assistance and advice - both in connection with your termination and your search for a new job. We call that Move on - Kom godt videre (Danish only).

Join HK's job exchange (HK Jobbørs)
Already in your notice period we can help you get closer to your next job. Create your CV in HK's job exchange, and we will contact you as soon as we have a match with an employer.
Read more about HK's job exchange and how to create your CV and perhaps become a candidate for the next job opening (Danish only).
