I sin talk tager Antonin os med ind i den kreative tilgang bag sit legende og visuelt stærke arbejde.
Han deler sit personlige blik på grafisk design og giver indblik i sin kreative proces.
Efter talken er der mulighed for at stille spørgsmål, så gør dem klar på forhånd.

Om Antonin Waterkeyn
Antonin Waterkeyn er belgisk art director og motion designer. Han er uddannet fra La Cambre i Bruxelles og begyndte sin karriere i Paris som freelance motion designer, før han var med til at grundlægge studiet Mada Mada. Senere flyttede han til Bordeaux, hvor han har boet og arbejdet de seneste syv år.
Med 18 års erfaring inden for animation og grafisk design har han opbygget en praksis, der kombinerer flere forskellige motion design værktøjer, blandt andet After Effects, kunstig intelligens og Cavalry, som han har specialiseret sig i de seneste tre år. Hans arbejde har været vist på festivaler som Demo Festival og Motion Motion Festival.
Han har samarbejdet med kulturinstitutioner som The National Museum of Norway og Musée d’Aquitaine samt med brands og organisationer som Galeries Lafayette, Christie’s, Théâtre de la Monnaie i Bruxelles og Directors’ Fortnight i Cannes. Derudover arbejder han med studier og bureauer som Base Design, DIA Studio, Mathematic og Buck.
Ved siden af sit professionelle arbejde underviser han i motion design på flere skoler i Frankrig og Belgien.

In his talk, Antonin will take us through the creative approach behind his playful and visually striking work. He will share his personal perspective on graphic design and offer insight into his creative process. A Q and A will follow the talk, so come prepared with your questions.

About Antonin Waterkeyn
Antonin Waterkeyn is a Belgian art director and motion designer. A graduate of La Cambre in Brussels, he began his career in Paris as a freelance motion designer before co founding the studio Mada Mada. He later moved to Bordeaux, where he has been living and working for the past seven years.
With 18 years of experience in animation and graphic design, he has developed a practice that combines a wide range of motion design tools, including After Effects, artificial intelligence, and Cavalry, a software he has specialized in for the past three years. His work has been presented at festivals such as Demo Festival and Motion Motion Festival.
He has collaborated with cultural institutions including The National Museum of Norway and the Musée d’Aquitaine, as well as brands and organizations such as Galeries Lafayette, Christie’s, Théâtre de la Monnaie in Brussels, and Directors’ Fortnight at Cannes. He also works with studios and agencies including Base Design, DIA Studio, Mathematic, and Buck.
Alongside his professional practice, he teaches motion design at several schools in France and Belgium.
